The meeting was presided over by Director Lin Fukui of the Standards Department, Beijing Materials Handling Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BMHRI). At the opening ceremony, General Manager Sun Xuqing of Jiangsu Guruis Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., the meeting organizer, delivered a welcome speech, and Chairman Wang Shunting of the Technical Committee for Continuous Handling Machinery addressed the audience.
In his speech, Chairman Wang Shunting presented the achievements made in the formulation and revision of continuous handling machinery standards in recent years, and put forward requirements of standardization, advancement and scientificity for the development of the two industrial standards and the discussion at this meeting.
The industrial standards Enclosed Single-idler Belt Conveyors and Tripper Cars for Belt Conveyors were led and compiled by Baoke Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jiaozuo Keruisen Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. respectively.
During the review, participating experts first listened to presentations by the lead drafting institutions covering the overall compilation ideas, major work progress, core technical contents and supporting basis for each standard. They then reviewed the draft industrial standards chapter by chapter and clause by clause, put forward several revision comments and suggestions, and unanimously approved the standards upon review.
With strong support from the organizer Jiangsu Guruis Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. and joint efforts of all participants, the meeting successfully completed all scheduled tasks.Both enclosed single-idler belt conveyors and tripper cars for belt conveyors are key equipment in the continuous handling machinery industry. The formulation of the above industrial standards will provide technical basis for standardizing product design, manufacturing, production and application, and play a positive role in improving product quality and safety performance as well as boosting technological progress of the industry.
