In his speech, Chairman Wang Shunting introduced the achievements made in the formulation and revision of continuous handling machinery standards in recent years, and put forward requirements of standardization, advancement and scientificity for the revision of the five industrial standards and discussions at this meeting.
Five industrial standards were reviewed at the meeting, namely Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyors, Vertical Bucket Elevators, Backstops for Belt Conveyors, Flat Plate Conveyors and Overhead Conveyors — Terminology. During the review session, participating experts first listened to presentations by the lead drafting organizations covering the overall compilation ideas, major work procedures, core revised technical contents and relevant supporting basis of each standard. Afterwards, they reviewed the draft versions of the five industrial standards chapter by chapter and clause by clause, put forward multiple revision comments and suggestions, and unanimously approved all standards upon review.
With strong support from the organizer Libo Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. and joint efforts of all participants, the meeting successfully completed all scheduled tasks.
Corrugated sidewall belt conveyors, vertical bucket elevators, flat plate conveyors, overhead conveyors and backstops for belt conveyors are all key equipment in the continuous handling machinery industry. The revision of the above industrial standards addresses the aging issue of existing standards, improves their advancement, rationality and applicability, facilitates high-quality development of the whole industry, and provides critical support for upgrading the overall technical level of the sector.
