This project consists of four unit works, namely the transportation platform, conveying gallery, processing yard and loading yard. To minimize the environmental impact of material conveying on surrounding areas, fully enclosed galleries are adopted throughout the line. The conveying system comprises 4 sections of belt conveying galleries (including conventional belt conveyors and pipe belt conveyors). The total length of the conveying galleries is approximately 7 km with a width of about 4 m. The pipe belt conveyor features a pipe diameter of 400 mm, a length of 2,850 m, a conveying capacity of 1,000 t/h, a belt speed up to 3.15 m/s, an overall lifting height of 80 m and a horizontal turning angle of around 45°, and it adopts variable-frequency start-stop control via motor and reducer. The conventional belt conveyor has a belt width of 1,200 mm and a length of 3,910 m, with the same conveying capacity of 1,000 t/h and a maximum belt speed of 3.15 m/s. All conveyor belts deployed in the whole project are supplied by Ounai Rubber & Plastic.
